Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is a technological development used extensively within the hair restoration community to promote hair growth for patients suffering from a variety of conditions causing hair loss. 

LLLT works because of the process of “photo-bio-stimulation”, which means the stimulation of cells using light. At low frequency (650nm), the laser diodes cause cells to become activated and produce ATP (adenosine triphosphate) which is the energy source for cells. LLLT also dilate blood vessels and improve circulation to the root hair cells, providing them with nutrients and better oxygenation. Hairs throughout the scalp are rejuvenated and grow thicker, stronger hairs to replace the weaker and thin hairs.
